Top 100 Ranking by State

When you look at every list of Top 100 Public Courses that have made the Golf Digest rankings since they began in 2003, there have been a total of 202 that are still available to the public to play.  Below is the list by state and the last year they were in the rankings.  South Carolina and California are the leading states with 16 total courses.  If you would rank them by the number of courses in the current rankings, California would be first with 11 and Michigan would be a close second with 10.
